Look below see the beautiful quilt Deb made out of sheepskin scraps, you too can make beautiful things while watching TV, or by the fire on long winter evenings.
The Long Wool Scraps (shaggy sheepskins) make exotic looking Pillows, Quilts, Throws, or accents on boarders of rugs or trim on garments.
The short wool, (shearling) we used these skins in making coats and vests so its good quality, and its good for making Vests, Hats, Muffs, a seat for your favorite chair, a lawn mower seat, throw rugs, some use them for fishing lures, swabs to dye leather, some guys like these short wool swabs for oiling their guns. The uses are only limited to your imagination, and you can make it for not a lot of money, and end up with a beautiful
unique genuine sheepskin item.
On the bench above from right to left:
#1 A Small bag of Long Wool Sheepskin, $9.99
#2 A Large Bag of Sheepskin, you can ask for long wool or short wool. (3 times as much as small bag) $24.99
#3 A Small bag of Short Wool Sheepskin, $9.99
#4 A bag of Leather Scraps, split cowhide, we used this for the outer sole on our Sheepskin Snuggies. $9.99
Just wanted to drop you folks a line and express my appreciation for the package of sheepskin scraps I received this afternoon. They are MAGNIFICENT!!! -- Max
